The Michael Palin Centre for Stammering Children is a specialist centre for speech and language therapy for the treatment of stammering, located at 13-15 Pine Street, London, EC1R 0LP. Officially opened in 1993, it is a joint initiative between the Camden & Islington Community Health Services NHS Trust and the charity Association for Research into Stammering in Childhood (ARSC). Following his role in ''A Fish Called Wanda'' in which he portrayed Ken, a character who stammered, as well as having mentioned in his diaries that his father suffered from stammering, Michael Palin agreed for the centre to be named after him.
